Super Bowl watch parties: Where to catch the big game this Sunday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The biggest night in football returns this weekend as the Seattle Seahawks square off against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Down, set and hike on over to these local spots to catch the big game.

Asheville

The Grey Eagle

The Super Bowl watch party at The Grey Eagle will start with a cornhole tournament at 5 p.m. Sign up by emailing events@thegreyeagle.com.

The game will be projected onto a 10-foot screen at the free event.

The River Arts District Brewing Company

RAD Brewing Company will throw their Super Bowl watch party from 6-10 p.m.

Third Room

Third Room will have their full bar and menu items available for purchase at their free, all-ages watch party. Grab a couch and see the Super Bowl on “the biggest screen in town.”

The Whale Outpost

Head to The Whale Outpost in Haw Creek to watch the Super Bowl at 6:30 p.m. Snacks and pitchers will be available to enjoy during the game.

The Whale West Asheville

The Whale West Asheville will host a “The Office”-themed Super Bowl party beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Every quarter of the game, guests may partake in The Office Olympics, playing paper football, paper basketball and other paper-themed sports for prizes.

Hendersonville

Guidon Brewing Company

Guidon Brewing will have the Super Bowl on in the taproom and the lounge. The brewery will offer 10 wings for $10 and $20 beer pitchers for the event.

Honeysuckle Holler

Honeysuckle Holler will have door prizes, beer, wings and a cornhole tournament for their Super Bowl bash. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Oklawaha Brewing Co.

Oklawaha Brewing will throw a Super Bowl party of their own with “a room full of folks who actually want to watch the game,” beginning with kick-off at 6:30 p.m.

Casablanca Cigar Bar

For a Super Bowl experience with less wings and more cigars, head on over to the Casablanca Cigar Bar, featuring their full cigar selection, craft drinks and more.
